Work

It looks like the state of the United State has come to Alexandria. Just last week 15-20 people at Extrusion were laid off. They report that this is only a temporary. Even where I work we have been cut hours and that is at a grocery store. Walmart laid off last week too. Those are just a few of the places that I heard of.

We need to rely on God. He is are only hope, strength and peace. Let us pray for wisdom, peace, and strength. Keep the faith.
God is in control. He will only give us what we can handle.

Tia and I have been busy making Valentine Cards. They are nothing fancy. We have good time together making them.

Here are some of the onces we have made.

We had Christmas a week after. I have always enjoyed watching the kids open there presents.
Kent also does! We had a good time. But part of the family were down in Florida. We missed them. Maybe next year!

It not often that we get the girls for a over night sleep over. We really enjoy the time with them
We played games, made cards and watched a movie. They had to go early the next morning with there Dad. So we couldn't stay up very late.

Even Cole is getting into card making. Tia was helping him make a card for Mom and Dad

Winter weather again.

It tuesday 12/30/08 have the day off. I was going to go to the pool but there is a 2 foot drift infront of my garage. I pretty sure that I can get out. But I don't know what is out there. No traffic on our road. Haven't seen any plows either.

On the sixth day God turned to the Archangel Gabriel and said: 'Today, I am
going to create a land called Minnesota. It will be a land of outstanding

buffalo, tall grass, and eagles, beautiful blue skies, forests full of bear, elk
and moose, rich farmland and fair skinned people.' God continued, 'I
shall make the land rich in resources so as to make the inhabitants prosper and
they shall be known as a most friendly people, people who practice being
Minnesota Nice every day.'
But Lord,' asked Gabriel, 'don't you think you are being too
generous to these Minnesotans?'
'Not really,' replied God 'just wait and see the winters I am going
to give them.'
